Posts or materials, such as videos, cannot be assigned to more than one room. Thus, in terms of what they contain, at the Open Research Community (ORC) rooms are autonomous from one another, which is similar to non-virtual rooms. However, all conversations from all non-private rooms are featured as latest conversations on the homepage of the ORC. This can definitely create synergies or connections between discussions taking place across various rooms. Hopefully, as the ORC evolves, it will be possible to create closer thematic links between conversation threads in different rooms.
