Do all users need to have their own user account in order to just read content on the ORC?
This question has no further details.
Answers
In brief, not necessarily. The contents of the Open Research Community (ORC) are, in their absolute majority, freely accessible to the general public, based on Creative Commons licensing. Thus, to read posts, access documents and watch videos, no user account is needed. However, if one would like to receive periodical newsletters with announcements of latest contributions to the ORC or to participate more actively in the ORC, such as by asking or answering questions, an account at the ORC would be required for that.
