On the one hand, its stands to reason that the definition of Open Access may need to be extended to discursive inclusion, e.g., via plain-spoken paper summaries, beyond what technical reproducibility media afford, such as the cost-efficient distribution of digital article or monograph copies, especially as professional jargon can pose a barrier for access to relevant insights. On the other hand, article or book summaries intended for the general, lay audience may need to meet minimal disciplinary or professional requirements in terms of their formulation adequacy.
