How Frequently Are Articles in Predatory Open Access Journals Cited? | Bo-Christer Björk, Sari Kanto-Karvonen and J. Tuomas Harviainen | Publications 2020, 8, 17, 1-12.

According to this research, between 2014 and 2019, predatory journals have demonstrated only 2.6 citations per article, whereas 56% of their articles have been found not to have any citations at all. In contrast, randomly sampled peer reviewed journals were found to have 18.1 citations per article.
